Biography.

Lisa Lazarus is a 22-year-old model and actress.

She grew up in Swansea, south Wales, and studied Diagnostic radiography at Herefordshire University, in England.

The Welsh beauty has since taken a year out from her studies to focus on her thriving modeling and acting career.

She is the daughter of renown, top UK psychic Diane Lazarus and has a younger brother Liam.

Lisa has been modeling since the aged of 14 and won her first beauty competition at the age of 16, in 2004.

The contest was run by a local newspaper called the Llanelli Star and it saw the 22-year-old beauty crowned Miss Llanelli.

The following year, in 2005, she was runner up in the Miss Wales competition held in the country’s capital city of Cardiff.

Following on from this success, she became the proud winner of the Miss Bikini Great Britain title - while competing for the Model of the World contest, in Africa, in 2007.

In 2008, Lisa was also delighted to be winner of Miss Universe UK - and later went on to represent the UK in Miss Universe 2008 - which is owned by Donald Trump.

Through her success at the Miss UK contest, Lisa is now closely associated as an ambassador of the Joshua Foundation.

The charity aims to raise cash to provide holidays and experiences for children and their families, where the child has terminal cancer.

Having done a number of TV, print commercials, and graced the stages of several major catwalks - including for Fashion TV and Javani - the stunner has been all set to make her presence felt in Bollywood.

Since her Miss Universe UK 2008 win, a number of amazing opportunities have been presented to Lisa - including the chance to debut alongside Bollywood heart-throb Salman Khan in Bollywood film - Veer.

In the film, Lisa plays a British girl who comes to India and falls in love with Veer - played by Khan.

The big budget movie, which saw Lisa flown to Mumbai, was released earlier this year and has been hailed a huge success by critics.

Lisa has also starred in UK TV programmes for S4C designer and stylist Huw Rees, Channel 5’s Trust Me I’m a Beauty Therapist and pop sensation Michelle Marsh’s music video - with several more pop videos lined up. Lisa is currently filming her second Indian film, Madrapattinam, to be released later this year

Not only has she graced the big screen, the Welsh stunner, has also been the face of many top brands - including The Palm hotel, Elizabeth Arden, Tigi and GHD.

She has even featured in prestigious fashion events such as Egypt FTV week, not to mention becoming a hair model for L’oreal, and starring in photo shoots with numerous magazines including Zoo, Ok!, Nuts, Cosmopolitan, GHD, Loaded, Sugar, Bliss and Mega Modelz.

Becoming a popular face within the modeling industry, Lisa was also named in Nuts magazine’s Top Babe list and was noticed by numerous national newspapers including, The Sunday Times, The Mail, The Sun and Daily Star.

Looking to the future, the bubbly 22-year-old, who is a keen socialite, says: “I love the modeling industry - even though it can be hard at times.

“My dream is to become a successful model and actress and I will do everything I can to succeed and achieve this ambition.”
